Overview
Bourbon Country is a documentary series concept that explores the history, craftsmanship, culture, and legacy of Kentucky bourbon from the perspective of award-winning chef Edward Lee. The series was designed to reveal the people, places, and traditions behind one of America's most iconic industries.
loft135 led the creative direction and visual development of a compelling pitch deck that translated the concept into a fully realized brand experience for investors, collaborators, and potential production partners. The work included visual identity development, narrative positioning, concept design, and presentation materials that established the series' tone, audience appeal, and storytelling approach.
Drawing inspiration from the sensory experience of bourbon itself, the visual language incorporated rich textures, warm amber tones, charred oak influences, and handcrafted details. Every design element was developed to reinforce the themes of craftsmanship, tradition, and transformation that define the series.
Results
The result was a cohesive visual narrative that communicated the project’s creative vision while positioning the concept for industry stakeholders and production opportunities.
